1971 Firebird Interior Choices

Firebirds have always been offered in two trim levels, the standard and Custom.  The Custom interior was standard on Esprit and optional on Formula and Trans Am.  The custom interior offered more luxurious amenities like an improved seat design and specific door panels with separate pull straps.  There was also a holding strap on the passenger dashboard.

New for 1971 the high back bucket seat were introduced in the both the custom and standard interior trims.  Sandalwood was available for the last year and represents a rare find if you have one.  The Green color was changed to Jade but the color was very similar to 1970.  The red custom interior was replaced with the new Sienna and Ivory colors.
